NetMagic Systems, Inc. is a computer software company specializing in network automation and password management automation software and services. Founded in 1991 in New York City, NetMagic Systems began with products for computer network and server management automation (NetMagic and
StressMagic) and expanded into password management automation in 1997 with the first shipment of NetMagic Pro.
NetMagic Pro is a password management and security automation tool for Call Centers, Help Desk and End User Self Service. NetMagic Pro allows the Help Desk or Call Center operators to perform Password Synchronization, Password Resets, Account Unlocking and Account Reporting on end user ID status. NetMagic Pro’s End User Self Service Option allows end users to authenticate to a previously established question profile, and then reset their own passwords without calling the Help Desk. Network security, computer systems security, and password security is maintained by a two-tier client/server architecture providing security and authority isolation, while alleviating the need for Help Desk or Call Center operators to have supervisor or administrator access to network or system resources.
Since its first shipment in 1997, NetMagic Pro has helped lower Information Technology (IT) support costs, while enhancing information security, at organizations with user populations in the hundreds to tens of thousands of users.
